Located just outside Childers, the property is an independent cottage situated on five acres with beautiful views from front overlooking treetops and mountain views. Wallabies and wild life feeding at 4pm daily. Montrose cottage offers BBQ facilities, a pot belly stove and outdoor dining setting. Washer and dryer are available in the ensuite, and there is a clothesline outside. Continental breakfast is included in your stay.

 

Apple Tree Creek is a very small village population 900, very close to Childers which has lovely coffee shops and shopping in general.  Apple Tree Creek has a lovely restaurant called Mollydookers with a mixed menu of Canadian and Australian cuisine and is extremely popular. It also has the 'Apple Tree Creek Hotel' which serves lunch and dinner. Apple Tree Creek is only 35 minutes from Bundaberg and an hour to Bargara which has great restaurants and beautiful beaches.
